Saturday, May 13th – Heidi, 3 years old, is a very lively little girl. She has a younger brother, Casper, who is already very much adventurous (seeing a piece of cheese at the top of the counter, climbing up the drawers to get to the cheese…). There mother had enough on her plate to prepare Heidi’s birthday party, so she gave me a call to take over the « sweet » part of the party. I was starting to dream with pink sugar paste, glitters, and what not. « Could you make a Cars cake? ». Oh! Heidi is a little boy’s name?! Brain formatting… That actually made me so happy, because I was myself very much enjoying car toys when I was a little girl, I had loads, and a garage, and a mat, and the electric ones. So many good memories (and fights with my brother). And this is how the excitement started to get me. And Heidi has a lot a friends too at the « Krippe », so she had another special request.
